One of our favorite lovey-dovey desserts, which is also a hit among the guests who join us for Valentine’s Day and – well – any other day, is the Chocolate Melting Cake!
What You’ll Need:
6 ounces dark chocolate
5 ounces unsalted butter
¼ cup sifted flour
½ cup sugar
What to Do:
(You will need four small heart shaped ramekin bowls or four 4-inch round ramekin bowls)
Double-boil dark chocolate, butter and sugar. Remove from flame and let cool. Once cool, add eggs and flour, stirring constantly.
Grease ramekins with butter and flour or cooking spray. Pour chocolate mixture into ramekins until completely full. Cover with tin foil and place in freezer for 2 hours or more.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees, uncover ramekins and bake for 15 minutes.
Pour chocolate molds onto dessert plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
(Serves 4. Keep the additional 2 cakes in the freezer and serve at a later date!)
