Last month, Chef Jodi paid a visit to Suzie’s Farm, a 70-acre USDA-certified organic farm located thirteen miles south of downtown San Diego. Established in 2004, it grows over 100 varieties of seasonal vegetables, herbs, flowers and fruits, year-round, and its mission is to feed San Diegans the freshest and highest quality produce while creating a community of people who are passionate about organic, locally grown produce. Chef Jodi took a private one-hour tour (only $20!), in which she harvested baby romaine, cucumbers, yellow squash and strawberries – all were absolutely delicious!
