The holiday season is in full swing, and our kitchen has been packed, hosting groups of all shapes and sizes!
Last week, we welcomed Delkin Devices, one of San Diego County’s leading manufacturing companies, for a four-hour team building event. We had the pleasure of hosting 22 of its team members, and we kicked off the event by splitting them into teams and having them compete in an olive oil and vinegar tasting competition. Both teams then went on to prepare each course, as they were judged on various elements throughout the night, such as taste, presentation and team spirit.
All in all, the event was a huge success, and team members were able to focus on cooking and having fun together in an environment outside of the office. Plus, they got to enjoy delicious, farm-to-table California cuisine!
One participant even commented, “The best team building event and the most fun we’ve had to date! Jodi & team was excellent!”
Later in the week, we were visited by Kim and Kyndal Goza from Houston, Texas. This mother-daughter duo came to Chef Jodi to learn the foundations of cooking. Together, they dined on Herb Crusted Chicken and delicious focaccia bread.
Says Kyndal, “Spending time with my mom learning all of these recipes from Jodi was the highlight of our trip to San Diego.”
