This is another great dish for Passover!
What You’ll Need:
16 ounces chicken livers
5 hard boiled eggs
3 large onions, diced
2 Tablespoons smaltze or oil
½ teaspoon mayonnaise
Salt and white pepper to taste
What to Do:
Spread chicken livers on baking sheet and broil until seared on both sides. Set aside.
Saute onions in smaltze until golden brown. Add livers and sauté for a few minutes. Then, add salt and pepper.
Once livers are completely cooked, put in food processor, and add in eggs and onions. Puree until desired consistency. Add mayonnaise, if desired.
Place on platter, chill and serve!
